Compared to traditional bar stock fed multi spindles, this 4-spindle CNC machine guarantees higher precision, versatility, production flexibility and waste reduction. The particular strength of Linea Spindle is the reduction of the set-up time to just 15 minutes. This is possible due to the architecture and organization of the multi spindle itself, which is divided into two totally independent work areas. This allows you not only to replace a tool, but also to fully retool the machine without stopping the production cycle. Machine downtimes are thus kept to an absolute minimum, leading to important savings in the production process.
Linea Spindle is a CNC machine that is ideal for sectors needing the production of extremely large families of pieces, such as for hydraulics, oil hydraulics, automotive, fittings, and so on.

Linea Spindle’s set-up time is at its heart, allowing you to face production with the logic of Lean Manufacturing, producing only what is necessary.
An important customer asked us to include this aspect in our contract, with an associated penalty, and so we did.
The set-up time is, therefore, 15 minutes. Linea Spindle puts it in writing.
Furthermore, while you retool one side of the machine, the other can continue to work, meaning that Linea Spindle never stops.

Linea Spindle is not the universal solution for all circumstances.
For example, if you have to produce just one piece in very large quantities, with limited retooling, it is likely that traditional multi spindle machines offer better performance.
The cycle time to price ratio with the multi spindle Linea Spindle
The cost per piece does not only come from the cycle time to machine price ratio. There are many other variables to take into account, especially when there are very large families of pieces, and various set-ups to organize. Among all the variables, it is particularly important to consider the retooling times.
In fact, calculating cycle time alone is simply not enough.
Linea Spindle: the differences compared to traditional multi-spindles
Consider that there are other ways of working than the one you are simply used to. When you think about the cycles, and machining of a piece, there are now solutions that no longer need bar stock fed into the machine but can make use of pre-cut bar or pre-processed pieces.
This is the Linea Spindle way, which is much easier to set up than on traditional multi spindle screw machines, and needs a lot less effort and training. This makes it extremely easy to use.
